What data does Floating Car Data provide? +
Average and free-flow speeds, speed percentiles and medians, travel times and their deviations, congestion and confidence levels, and mobility patterns between zones.
What coverage does it have? +
Worldwide: currently 78 countries, Spain included. Within each country it covers the entire hierarchy of urban and interurban roads, not just the stretches between fixed stations as in ITS networks.
How soon do I get the analysis? +
It depends on its complexity, but usually within 24 to 48 hours of accepting the service.
How often is the data updated? +
TomTom's fusion engine runs on 30-second cycles, so real-time information is refreshed continuously. Historical data is processed from the third day before the current date.
In which formats is it delivered? +
Route stats in GeoJSON, JSON, KMZ, Shapefile and XLSX; area stats in GeoJSON, JSON and ZIP; O/D matrices in XLS and CSV.
How much do these services cost? +
From €1,920 per study, micro or macro, delivered in 24 hours — well below the cost of fixed sensors (loops, magnetometers) or mobility surveys.
